Pickles of a Mom..

If you are anything like me, I am sure you instantly transform to the crazy bitch once you start PMSing…and as crazy as that sounds, we ladies normally do not even realize the rationale behind such anger and frustration until we finally get to see those red drops on our panties or the taint in our attires if we are having a really bad day…   And the person who bears all the wrath is most of the time our dearest partners…But try to catch up Men!! This is not the first time that you are having to bear the brunt…It has happened before and it is most likely to happen for the next twenty years or so…so better be prepared once for all…   Seriously I think men need to be made more aware of what happens to the ladies when PMS knocks at our doors…You better learn quick and I will give you a few pointers and you need to heed my advice…The sooner the better…Believe me you do not want to be found shivved by your own adorable wife…Yes, you heard me…We ladies are capable of every nasty thin...

You may be a stay home mom taking care of your little munchkin 24/7 out of free will or because you have no choice or you may be a work from home (WFH) mom, trying to juggle between the little career that you have left and your motherhood responsibilities but nonetheless you do it, the best you can… You are not perfect but you somehow manage to do it, thinking that most mothers are probably in the same boat as you…And that you are doing it because you firmly believe that's  beyond doubt  best for your family... This Covid-19 pandemic has f**ked my lifestyle…While so many are turning into vegans and adopting gluten free diets, and posting their killer abs on social media, mine is a total fiasco… I have been gluten free for months and I have reached that ideal weight threshold which I was during university days minus the curves which have shrunk but I will get to that later… Except from my shriveled ass, I was delighted with how I looked with this diet...I looked younger, my complexion has changed and my skin was actually glowing, not the way when we are pregnant but nevertheless… The reason I chose to be gluten free was because I have always been bloated and had a number of accompanying pickles such as stubborn belly fat that would never go away, despite eating leaves for days on end…I moreover had terrible headaches and I used to have skin problems… I even did pricey blood tests though they were not the right ones for typical gluten intolerance as I was told it was prett...

The GDP might be more or less stagnant...The unemployment rate might be on the rise, especially due to the pandemic but one thing that has remained constant for as long as I can remember is the staggering crime level of our beloved country, Mauritius which has been termed by many as ‘the little paradise’…What is so heavenly about that?! You tell me… From a satirical point of view, it is as if one favours physical beauty to leap into marriage... No wonder the divorce rate in the country is remarkably high... One cannot count on looks alone...Inner beauty is way more imperative…In the same vein, when you are on the look out for your next tourist destination, you would no doubt select the safest places to go to unless you want to invite hassles during your vacay…So the ball is in your court…Choose wisely... There should be a limit to stubbornness...Especially when the one exuberating the obstinate behaviour was only born two and half years ago...He pays no rent, he does not buy the food he is ingesting, even the diaper he is wearing was not purchased by him...But i dare you to do anything against his will...I know, i did not bring a baby to the world to push him around but still, he cannot be the one bossing us around... The baby boss was born at 37 weeks...i swear the Almighty wanted to keep him more in Heaven's abode but he was in a hurry to see the world and stubborn as he is, even God had to give in and so he was born, crying and kicking almost 3 weeks earlier than his due date... Ever since, it has been a struggle, especially that i am no more a young mother... I will be reaching 40 in a couple of years' time...I know age is just a number but i already feel like an old woman and my patience has reached a dead end...No wonder our parents used to tell us to ge...

If you are anything like me, I am sure you hate mosquitoes as much as do...Mosquitoes are the worst parasites ever...and they have evolved...I  swear they are now attracted to light contrary to popular belief...I usually joke with my parents saying that they might have evolved spiritually, from listening to so much of my Dad's bhajans and sacred discourses all day long...That is one disturbing thought - mosquitoes turned into celestial beings earlier than I...Anyways, I usually light only one bulb in the house at night and wait for them all to gather around it before I appear like a warrior going on a battlefield with the mighty racket...I am a bit worried about my mental state when I experience a great sense of elation, like no other, when the racket starts emitting sounds like lit firecrackers upon contact with the mini vampires... Come Judgement Day, I hope I will not be assessed from the amount of mosquito lives that i took from one lifetime alon...
